Description
Battery tester needle should be 20 °C ± 5 °C of ambient temperature, the battery will take a thermocouple (thermocouple contacts fixed on the battery on a large surface) placed in a hood, with a diameter of 2-8mm no corrosion rate of stainless steel needle to pierce the battery 10mm/s-40mm/s largest surface to the center position and hold for 5 seconds.

High temperature steel nail (angle of nail point at 60°and clear surface without rust and grease) with its diameter at φ20mm~φ30 mm penetrate at a speed at 10mm/s~40mm/s into at least 3 battery plates by vertical direction (nail remains into the battery cell and keep observation by 1 hour).
